If you do come to a point in time where you do need to buy new carpet, what kind should you buy.  There are many different materials and manufactures but for residential homes I prefer nylon carpet.  Nylon holds up the best in my opinion.  Some of the other carpets are made of polyester which I don’t like at all.  Oils bond with these fibers and don’t clean off easily.  Another thing is the wear pattern is terrible, once you have a traffic area, it never goes away.  The fibers wear down on the tips and have a graying that can’t be reversed.  It does have a natural stain resistance as far as colored stains go and that’s one of the selling points but that’s the only thing that comes out of it easily.

There are some other carpets called by other names that act just like polyester just the manufacture had it called something else but it cleans and wears the same.  90 percent of the carpets made are made of nylon and this is because it’s the best as far as cleaning and holding up to wear go.  There are different levels of qualities in the carpets produced.  What the differences are the density of the fibers and the amount of twist they put into the fibers and then the style of the carpet.  So once you pick your price point you can see the carpet you like and just stay with the nylon.  For all your Scottsdale carpet cleaning needs, Fosters Carpet Care, Thank You.
